“People can you feel it?” The buzz about Buffalo is building…
We got a nice mention today in a quick-hit Fox News Travel piece entitled, “Top US Revival Cities Worth Visitng,” focusing on those working to overcome the problems tied to our “post-industrial” status. While it’s sloppily done with numerous spelling and factual errors and clearly the kind of piece assigned with instructions such as, “Let’s get some easy web views from cities hungry for positive press – call the local CVB and a street-smart civic advocate; get some hotspots and photos; don’t spend too much time on it”…the big takeaway is that Buffalo is becoming a place that people associate with progress. Pieces like this may be fickle and fleeting, but what’s within them is…For Real.
Amid myriad namedropping, the piece cites Larkin Square as “a suddenly hotspot for business and entertainment…garnering insta-buzz” and even includes a photo of Babik, this week’s headliner of our Live at Larkin free Wednesday concert series presented by First Niagara.
Hey, talk about cheap plugs – while we’re diggin’ on the Allman Brothers Band here, check out my review in The Buffalo News of their show with Santana at Darien Lake last Sunday!
