Fourth Annual Buffalo Santa Pub Crawl Hits Allentown This Saturday, Supports Carly’s Club

You don’t have to wear a lab coat to fight pediatric cancer – you and your friends can make a real difference while having fun and wearing red velvet and fake white fur this Saturday, December 22nd, in Allentown!

Four years ago, fun-loving young professionals from throughout Western New York got together in Allentown, dressed as Santa and Ms. Claus, and went pub crawling en masse to neighboorhood watering holes and had a BLAST!

Along the way we help spread (and drink) some holiday cheer, raising money for great local causes. For the fourth annual Buffalo Santa Pub Crawl, the cause is Carly’s Club at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. We ask pub crawlers to make a $10 donation; in exchange for their donation, participants get awesome drink and food discounts generously offered by our host establishments, a t-shirt, and a chance to win two Bills tickets!

The organizers of the crawl do this for fun, not profit; any and all donations go to Carly’s Club.  Carly’s Club raises critical funds for pediatric cancer research, patient care, and programming. The monies raised go to creating positive experiences for the patients and their families as well as advanced pediatric care at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Last year’s donations totaled over $1,000, which generated an additional $7,000 in new grant funding!

The pub crawl begins at 6:30pm at Fat Bob’s, and we are expecting 100-plus costumed Santa’s and Ms. Claus’s to join us. RSVP not required, but encouraged at the Facebook event page.

More details about the event, pictures from past years’ crawls, exclusive discounts on costumes from local costume shops, and the specific crawl route can be found at www.BuffaloSantaPubCrawl.com.  We encourage everyone to like our Facebook page, and follow the link to RSVP.  We can also be followed on Twitter @bufsantacrawl.

Come out, have fun, and support the Claus!
