Continuing an annual tradition that honors Phish’s 1991 performance at Nietzsche’s on their rise to worldwide renown, three Buffalo bands will take to that same Allentown venue to pay tribute with four nonstop hours of Phish songs without any repeats.
This year’s tribute will feature some new players as well as guests who’ve performed at past editions – having dazzled in dabbling into Phish covers at prior shows, new kids on the scene Brown Sugar will step into the headlining role to perform the closing marathon set that promises the intensity and unpredictability of the classic Phish show. Returning to the event and now performing a full set on the back stage is Imperial Brown, with perennial favorite Adam Bronstein (Universe Shark) bringing bassist Brad Robbins of their band Gravy to play duo sets up front. In continuing the series’ support of Buffalo Niagara Riverkeeper, social media campaigns and signups will be conducted throughout the night.
