Building on the well-received return back in December of our Friendraiser, an informal mixer that unites Good Neighbors with common causes, the gathering will return to The Filling Station in Larkin Square on Wednesday, January 28th, at 5:30pm. In the name of networking, all are welcome to bring flyers, brochures, signup lists, eager minds and idle hands – everyone will be introduced.
This month we’ll put an extra spotlight on Buffalo Niagara RIVERKEEPER, encouraging attendees to register for their annual Spring Shoreline Sweep on Saturday, April 25th – just as we will at our 4th annual Johnny Cash Birthday Bash at Nietzsche’s on Friday, February 6th. RIVERKEEPER is a community-based organization dedicated to protecting the quality and quantity of water, while connecting people to water. It does this by cleaning up pollution from our waterways, restoring fish and wildlife habitat, and enhancing public access through greenways that expand parks and open space.
The Filling Station will offer complimentary light food along with a cash bar, while the Hydraulic Hearth across the street will be open for dinner and drinks – come hungry for community engagement, and bring your agenda and a friend or few!
